Why do I have register?

For security and to prevent overbooking. Once your registration is approved, you’ll received an event link to join.

Why do I have TO answer questions to register?

Zoom requires first name and email address for any registered meeting. Most meetings require some additional information of attendees for identification, the benefit of the presenters, etc. Questions are optional unless marked by a red asterisk.

How do I LOG ONTO MY MEETING ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT?

You should have received a login link—emailed through Zoom—when your registration was approved. (Please don’t share this. It’s specific to you, and sharing it online could allow Zoombombers to disrupt our event.)

What if I didn’t receive an email with login info? (Or if I lost it.)

If you do not have an email from Zoom approving your registration or don’t have your link handy, email me and let me know, and I will re-send yours. (Everyone gets their own.)

When should I log on?

Unless otherwise mentioned by your event host, I will normally be on about 5-10 minutes early help attendees through any technical issues. Join any time before the start time. You will be in what Zoom calls the “Waiting Room” until I accept you into the meeting.

What if I have trouble logging in?

Email me as above. If you’re concerned or expecting tech issues, please try to join a few minutes early.
